Hello!
I'm Faisal, Iraqi-Lebanese born, Dubai raised, and Toronto finished. I first got my start storytelling upon my late discovery of zines and the world of underground stories being shared in some of the most candid, creative, and intimate ways I've had the pleasure of absorbing.
After roughly 9 years studying and working in Architecture, with my licensure on the horizon, I decided to push eject and fully throw myself into the field of Animation and Storytelling.
I've since published two minicomics, with two larger comic projects stewing in my head, and I've spent the last year diving into learning the tools of the trade. All this to say: I am constantly taking in the world around me, and while I don't think they'll ultimately save the world, I truly believe the stories we tell are worthwhile if they can reach even one person the way the stories I've consumed have reached me.
